I wear a size 15 in men shoes and all ways have trouble finding shoes in my size. I figured I would try Zappos, and glad I did. I’ve never used or tried this Brooks brand. I’m glad I did. These shoes are very comfortable and fit perfect. I like black shoes and these were perfect. I’ve only wore them a couple of times since they were delivered and they have been fine. I hope they last a while.

Tried out the Ghost at the suggestion of Brooks website, however they changed my gait and hurt my knees. I’m a big guy, 5’10” 290 lb. Returned to Addiction and my knees feel better three days later

Good lookin shoe and seems well built. But I need wider/deeper shoes probably built on a different last. I wish Brooks made deeper shoes and 6E /9E sizes.

I have been purchasing this exact shoe for years. This was way too small

Extremely comfortable from day one

To tight and I normally wear 10.5 4e. So trying 12.5 4e hope they fit good!

Great shoe!

Had to send them back- much more narrow fit than previous versions. Going to try NB 880’s again.

After wearing this shoes I noticed that part of the design on the side of the shoes has peeled off. If this continues the side of the shoe will look rather ragged. For a pair of $140 running shoes I would not expect this to happen.

Size was correct. Width was correct. Support is good. Tennis shoe tongues are all very short and you barely have enough length to tie the shoes over them! The manufacturers need to fix this!

Comfortable and fit well. Worth the money

Great shoes for heavily pronated feet. I typically wear a 10.5, had to return for an 11. Brooks makes excellent shoes for running and walking. Strong recommendation.

Our favorite tennis shoe is the Brooks Beast & Brooks Ariel. They are definitely worth every penny. The only complaint I would have with Brooks Beast & Ariel. They need to come out with a little more exciting colors for these 2 styles. The other Brooks like Launch, Levitate, Ghost have really unique colors.

Way too heavy to be running shoes. Felt like wearing steel toed work boots. Look at allbirds or Nike for light weight runners that also have great support.

Review for Brooks Addiction GTS 15: As I have aged my correct shoe size has gone from a 9.5 AA width to a 11.5 A width. For a male this means unless I paid out big bucks most shoes never correctly fit me as few shoe companies make narrow width shoes. Seventy years ago there were shoe companies like Florsheim, Johnson & Murphy, Wright Arch Preserver, French Shriner, and Allen Edmonds that made narrow width shoes, sometimes requiring a special order. Other than Allen Edmonds, they are all long gone or the name exists but not the quality and choice of widths in products offered. Several years ago I discovered Brooks at Nordstroms and they had some shoe offerings in a narrow width. At times they have referred to them as B widths. Actually, they fit like an A width and they seem to be well made. For me the fit of their narrows are spot on. And, they are reasonably priced. I have about five pairs including running and walking shoes and all of them fit me well. I have tried Allen Edmonds but their narrow width shoe lasts have never really fit me well. And, their shoes have been in the $300 to $500 range for some time. I have also found a few models of New Balance shoes available in narrow widths and their B width is close to an A width. However anything in their 800 series are not a narrow fit even if the size claims to be. They are more between a C and a D width. I will continue to be a Brooks customer. Good fit, good value, and they last. They are manufactured to Brooks Co. specifications in order to remain consistent with their sizing. Many other shoes such as Rockport advertise widths but it is up to the country of manufacture to determine what a width might be.

I usually wear the adrenaline, but tried these. They were just not as comfortable for me as the Brooks Adrenaline, a little short also. So, I will be returning these shoes.

As soon as I saw this shoe, it was love at first sight. When I tried it on, it felt like it was made for me and that never happens. The toe box is spacious which is a treasured feature and the support around the heel is just right. I am going to order some more pairs in case they stop making these. I can’t say enough nice things about these. I can truly say that they are appropriately named for me: Addiction.

I bought these because I walk 10- 13 mi. daily and I needed a shoe that could accommodate my orthopedic arch supports. Worked great and I have put 50 plus miles and I am satisfied with them. I had read the reviews and order a 1/2 size larger and they fit perfectly. I would like to note that they have the best shoe laces. The laces only require to tied once and not doubled up. I have had every major high end athletic shoe in the past twenty years and all of their laces needed to be doubled up to stay tied…good job Brooks!

These were great at first. They’re comfortable and I like the style. They have good stability support. Everything was great until I noticed today that the back is already ripping (see photo). I guess I have a bad habit of using the toe of one shoe against the back of the other to take the shoe off, which has caused this rip to show up. This has never happened with another pair of shoes. The material back there is very thin and delicate so these get docked for durability. Disappointed since I’ve only had these for about 2.5 months.

Since I started suffering a bunion and other foot problems I’ve relied on the Brooks Addiction for comfort and support for city walking. After my great experience with the leather models I switched to the mesh upper version for hot weather, and have not been disappointed. They are wide enough for comfort on my 4E feet, and provide sufficient depth for a custom orthotic. Other brands deliver on fit and room, but Brooks is the most structured and supportive I’ve found.
WilliamI –
The fit is good, and the ride is not quite as soft as you’d expect from the product description, but still comfortable. The big design problem with this model is the vertical micro-ribbing along the side of the sole, so when it gets dirty, it’s impossible to completely clean. A wise solution to this would have been to offer no light colored soles, but Brooks has chosen to have a lot of them come in the dumb and trendy white or cream color. So, if you’re lucky enough to choose a size and color combination that has a black sidewall sole, your shoes will look fine. For the vast majority of us, the shoes will look dingy for the whole rest of their lives.
Not a recommended product!

I have worn Brooks shoes for a long time; but never the Addiction until my recent pair. I bought them because my podiatrist said that they would be the best model for my feet. He was right and I like them. My only gripe would be that I would like to see them available in a wider range of colors and styles.
KolbyK –
I absolutely hate these. It’s like wearing 2 concrete blocks on your feet. I just got my new Ghosts and that’s where it’s at.
MohammadS –
Unfortunately I think there is a problem with the size of the shoes
The right side is very short compared to the left shoe even though I have always worn size 13. Because of this I could not wear the shoe
I believe there is a defect in the craftsmanship.
David –
Have been wearing this size Brooks for years. This pair was narrower than any other pair and actually hurt. Returned them about 1 week ago and still waiting on Zappo’s 24 hour return fee.
