I have the Beast 23 in 4E width and they are perfect. Unfortunately the Beast 24 is not the same and too narrow in the toebox. Had to return and find another pair of 23s. Whatever was changed I hope they undo on the next version and go back to a wider fit.

I have worn various models of this shoe for many years. I have to wear an orthotic in one shoe and a foot-ankle brace in the other. I found this version to be a bit snugger than the previous one. It still has good cushioning and is and feels a bit lighter than prior ones.

Very satisfied these are my third pair of the Beast shoes do a lot of walking for excercize find them to have excellent support usually last about a year then retire them to lawn mowing shoes

I have a hard time finding a good fitting shoe since I had foot surgery and wear orthotics. I tried this shoe after wearing the Brooks Dryad which I could no longer find in my size. I have been very happy with the Beast 24. It fit right out of the box. It was no problem putting in my orthotics. It seems a bit more stylish than the Dryad. I’m very happy.

The shoe felt narrow for size 4E width. I particularly noticed it felt quite tight across my instep.

I continue to buy the Brooke’s Beast time after time. The arch support is excellent. I am on my feet all day and the Beast provides the support I need.

I have been wearing Brooks Beast for maybe 30 years. I started wearing them when I was a nurse on my feet all day. Now I am retired and I am still wearing them all the time. Some years were better than others, but this one is a winner. Very good fit, lots of support, nice color and fabric. Comfortable from day one. Thanks Brooks for taking care of me all these years.

They were supposed to be EE, but they were very narrow.

These Brooks were everything I hoped them to be.

Comfortable to wear and walk in all day; look is nice; not a good running shoe for me. Why: because the toe box is narrow at the toe and both outside edges of my largest toes rub the shoe. Shoe is not too short, just had a weird angle around the toe area, last years model didnt fit like that.
Seems like the shoe has a weird angle around the toe area causing rubbing.
Thats what I dont like about shoes that change too much in design/shape/comfort as the models progress. Engineers try to make it better and cheaper to make for same selling price, but you always get a weird flaw as a result that varies by person.
Some will say they are great, perfect, and some will say there is an issue or they dont like them.
Previous pair of beasts didnt last long, inner heel material tore apart from friction rubs, outside edges of heel wore out really fast and at a bad angle causing feet and ankles to roll outwards.
Didnt get very many miles
From last pair.
Thought I would give these 1 more try in a newer model and see how it goes.
I will say Im not impressed of the build quality, figment for the money. Not worth it. Obvious decline in insole quality also.

I have been wearing beast for over 20 years and love them. The pair I just got feels more like a size 12 and not 13. The tops of my toes are getting mashed. This has never happened before. I should go to a runner’s shoe store and check to see if my foot has grown. I’m 58, hopefully my feet aren’t getting bigger

Great shoe and with the generous toe box really the only pair that fits my feet. This shoe has allowed me to run. One tiny complaint is that the tongue is a bit too short on this latest model. I am always having to tug it up

I used the pre-GTS Beast for 7 years and tried the Beast GTS. Had to return the shoe because they added a stiff rubber to the toe area and it gave me terrible blisters. Ended up moving to Asics

Overall the build and quality seems like Brookss typical greatness. I was supposed with this version of Beast how tight they are on the sides. Its considerably tighter on width than older versions of Beast. So much I had to check to ensure they both said the were Medium.

For the life of me, I don’t know how one can buy a better shoe. I just received my GTS24s and, by golly they are absolutely superb. I started on the Chariot back in ’81 (also a great running shoe by any measure) and, went with the Beast when it came out (since I do far more walking these days). The Beast has been through several iterations since it was first introduced, and while some are slightly better than others for my feet, this new GTS 24 is, for all things considered and my feet, the best shoe I’ve ever owned. I have to mention that my feet are flat (from birth), and I pronate pretty badly. These “Beast” shoes are the perfect antidote. I’ve always worn a 2E, and still wear this width. Sizing is spot on.

Started off purchasing 1 pair to see how they compared to my husbands other beast shoes. He thought they were okay and we ordered another pair in a different color. The 2nd pair fit completely different in a good way. They were bigger though the same size in fit and now he wont wear the originals because the fit of the 2nd pair fit better. So sizing is inconsistent and for the price that shouldnt be a problem. Now Im scared to buy more because I dont know how they will fit and because he wore them and time Im stuck with them.

This shoe, in it’s previous iterations, was perfect. I was directed to Brooks by my podiatrist after suffering severe plantar fasciitis. The specific shoe was the Beast. Everything was perfect. I tried to ignore the concerns about the smaller toebox, but unfortunately they are valid. Buying a wide shoe is too wide and the medium fit is now too small. To the designers, please do not fix what was never broken. Now I have a new shoe I have grin and bear with and find a new style or brand. Back to square one. Dear Brooks don’t lose sight of the important of foot health for everyone.
