Love them!
A great work out shoe.
JOSEPH W –
Not to heavy with good toe protection. Grip for off roading good.
Jack F –
Firm but comfortable sole. At first, I was concerned they were too firm but as I wear them more I dont even notice that now. Good stability for trail running. Not too heavy. Great price for what you get.
Joe P –
Very comfortable running shoe. Have not owned a Brooks shoe in over 20 years. Well made, good looking(does matter to me) and good performing. Did 6 miles in them right out of the box. At times I wasn’t even mindful of them. that alone is a testimony of form and function.
Ready for another model soon.

Like the cushion and the grip.Dont have as much cushion as my ghost max which is a bit too much for me but they feel kinda like my beasts which are my favorite only with alot more traction for the loose trails

Great shoe..:: lets see how it holds up!? So far very nice!

Very pleased with these pair of shoes. Excelent on the gravel trails. The cushioning is perfect for that type of terrain.

This is my favorite trail runner from Brooks. I now have 2 pairs of the Divide 4 GTX, one pair of the Cascadia 17s and this new pair of Divide 5s. For me, the Divide is a much better fit than the Cascadia. It is not as tall, it is more snug, and it is far less noticeable on my foot. All of my shoes are size 10. The Divide does not move around at all on level ground. It holds my foot better on sharp declines, I don’t slip into the front of the shoe as much. The thing I like best about the Divide is that I simply don’t notice it once it’s on. Not as much cushioning, not as many touch points on my foot, it just performs. I love this shoe. I will say, from October of last year to about March of this year I wore the soles almost flat on my Divide 4 GTX (hence the second pair). The trails are rugged around here (Rocksylvania, in the Wilds) I get about 4.5 daily miles (mix of road and trail) during the week and stretch to 8 miles a day of trails on weekend hikes. I walk, run, and hike in these shoes.

I’m one week in – break in period – and so far, so good. I’ll be walking the Portuguese Camino in October, so will know more after that. A lot is riding on these shoes!

Perfect for what I needed (a senior who does easy to moderate hikes). The extra cushion was great for hikes along the Cabot Trail in Nova Scotia and in Acadia, Maine. Made our vacation/road trip enjoyable and kept the old feet comfortable.

My podiatrist recommended buying Brooks. I’ve purchased 3 pair in last 2 months. Great shoe that fits well and feels good! I walk 6-10 miles a day and Brooks shoes have made a big difference!! As always Zappos is fantastic!

The shoes feels great, I use them for both work mainly but looking at a second pair for working out

They feel great! I love the slightly wider area in the toe area as compared to my earlier Divide model. Great support all around the foot, and the tread pattern has more individual treads along with being a bit wider. A fantastic model, now; don’t change anything!

A great fit w/no break-in needed!
Extra stability with running on packed dirt/gravel trails!
Bravo!

These are very comfortable once you get them broken in a bit. I use these on trails and grass paths and while they are a little bit chunkier than I’m used to, they fit and give the cushion that I need! My back doesn’t hurt after a few miles of trail or park walking!

Love the shoesgreat fitlook forward to grabbing more pairs!

Like side to side support, traction, lightweight and breathable upper, roomy toe box. Felt very stiff at first, but after 10 miles felt very good. Do not care for the color combination at all (why are all Brooks trail shoes so garish?). How about some nice solid color options like the new Adrenaline Comments based on walking, not running.

I bought because of hybrid type of inning shoe but soles a little soft for road and are wearing faster then expected. Achilles cushion has something sharp which causes blisters and flatter arch then I prefer. Would not purchase again.

A bit too small. Great color and style. These Brooks shoes do not seem to fit me well despite liking the look.

This is my second pair of the Divide 5. I purchased the waterproof version for a trail race and liked them so much I decided to get a regular pair. One of the most comfortable trail shoes I have ever worn in 20+ years of running. While they are great on trails you can also run pavement and they still feel good.

It is a good shoe but like other Brooks trail shoes they are a little narrow on my feet, as far cushioning on your feet it is great, I have several pairs of Brooks shoes,
And the quality is second to none, every time I see someone wearing brooks I always ask them how they like them and the response is always positive.
Unfortunately I did return them, but they are still a good quality shoe.

I am a long time Adrenaline customer and was looking for a trail shoe with a similar fit for hiking and short trail runs. The Divide is close to the Adrenaline but a much roomier fit overall. Toebox is wider (not a bad thing) but also the heel. I was able to dial in fit by using a heel lock lacing pattern. Most importantly the arch support and feel of the shoe seem very similar to the Adrenalin. I appreciate the wide sole from a stability standpoint. I don’t know about technical trails but on the moderate to easy trails I am on it is perfect.

The shoe works great in snow and ice when the roads are not plowed

Excellent shoe. The most comfortable shoes I own.
