These ghost weatherized shoes are incredibly comfortable and give good support where it’s needed. They are smooth and breathable and have a similar feel to the new “barefoot” type shoes. They dry very quickly if you end up out in the rain and don’t have any issues with retaining water marks. They do seem to be a bit on the narrow side so I could see a wide option being beneficial for some people.

Having never owned a pair of Brooks running shoes before, I have found the Ghost to be a reliable daily trainer with some standout qualities. Right out of the box, the shoe feels soft and cushy, providing excellent comfort for longer runs or walks. The cushioning is forgiving and gives a supportive feel underfoot, making it a great option for those seeking a comfortable, all-purpose shoe.
One thing to note is the heel design it has a lower back, which might not be ideal for everyone, especially if you prefer a snug, supportive fit around the heel. Additionally, the high drop is noticeable and can take a bit of adjustment, particularly if youre used to lower-drop shoes.
In terms of fit, it does run slightly small, especially if youre using custom insoles. Id recommend going up half a size if you need extra room. The upper material is a plus; its easy to keep clean, even after wearing the shoes in various conditions. However, the soles do tend to hold onto dirt and mud, which can be a minor drawback if you frequently run on trails.

The Ghost 16 Weatherized are another great Brooks shoe! The fit does run small, but the are comfortable and supportive. The design on these are great. A normal Brooks look but the color is unique and I loved it, in addition to the detail on the sole. As expected, the shoes were comfortable, functional, and crafted well as Brooks typically are. But the thing I liked about these the most is the unique color allowing it to be a fairly versatile shoe!

I run with our Yellow Lab, Theo, most every day. And Theo loves to take me into the wet grass and even the snow. So far the Weatherized Ghosts have performed very well and they feel great. I now wear them very regularly even when not running.

These weathered ghost shoes are not what I thought they would be. They do not keep my feet warm and they do not appear to be waterproof. Also, after walking just 1.5 miles I had significant pain from the shoes rubbing the back of my ankles. I have had many brooks and never had this problem before.

Excellent shoe. Its waterproof without being hot like Gortex and lightweight. I gave it a 4 stars because I think it could use a little more cushion. Brooks- PLEASE make a weatherized Glycerin 21. That is my favorite shoe.

These shoes are great. Everything I like about the standard ghost 16 but waterproof. I wasn’t crazy about the color before ordering but I have got a lot of complements on them.
