I bought the Glyrecin 22 shoes expecting a big upgrade. Okay shoes but going back to Glyrecin 21.

Love this shoe overall! The ‘heel pull’ makes it a dream to pull on without having to use fingertips as a shoehorn. Once on, shoe articulation and foot accommodation (in wide sized option) invites getting out for another run asap. Can’t help but enjoy this shoe. Just waiting to justify ordering another pair!

At first glance, Brooks Glycerine 22 looks sleek with the taller sole on the outside of the shoe. The toe box is wide and comfortable yet sturdy. Air flow is maximal with the mesh-like vented fabric.
I tend to supinate when active. The back, outer sides of the shoe soles do not feel stable with this form. The rest of the shoe feels soft yet supportive. If I were to change anything, it would be the support in the heels of the shoe.
Overall, Brooks Glycerine 22 is a shoe many runners should consider due to the broad sole, flexible fabric, and cushioned landings.

These are the most comfortable running shoes i have ever used. Since the inception of out of box experience, these shoes are very light and the difference from my previous ones are a major difference. The first time i tried the shoes on I couldn’t believe just how light my feet felt. When pressing pressure on the heel of the foot feels just as amazing, the support these shoes have have a unique feel to it, almost like a memory foam type of feeling. As an experienced runner, I know running on pavement/cement takes a major toll on your knees… but these shoes have completely changed that feeling too. Previously, i would feel my knees and calfs feel sore and achy after a run, but now with these shoes that feeling is actually gone and i am now able to run a little more on distance with confidence. I would absolutely recommend these shoes to all distance runners, especially if they run on pavement/cement. 10/10 for me.

The fit and feel of this shoe is nice. It has a boxier toe frame than my hyperions; theyre also a little heavier to pick up. The design aesthetically is fine, I am not picky about what my shoes look like. Theyre more muted and are suitable to wear as an every day shoe as well. You cant go wrong with Brooks. The knit fabric is airy. Feels like youre running on a cloud with the support stack under the heel. The cushioning is fantastic. Again, cant go wrong with brooks – theyre versatile enough that you can wear them for almost any activity.

These shoes have the comfort and support you need as soon as you get your foot inside. They have cushion as you step and give you a small bounce to come back off the ground. I liked the color combination of black and gray. It makes them easier to wear as an everyday shoe as well. The thick sole adds to the comfort but is slightly odd looking for a male shoe.

the width between the laces seemed too wide, compared to past Glycerin models.

Ive been using these tennis shoes weekly for my running sessions, and they have truly transformed my experience! From the first step, I noticed how incredibly comfortable they are. The cushioning is just perfectsoft enough to absorb the shock with every stride, yet supportive enough to keep my feet feeling stable and energized throughout my runs.
One of the standout features is the fabric. Its lightweight and breezy, allowing air to flow through and keep my feet cool, even on warmer days. This breathable material prevents overheating and discomfort, making long runs feel like a breeze. The shoes also have great flexibility, which allows for natural foot movement and provides an extra level of comfort as I move.
These shoes are not only designed for performance but also for comfort and breathability. Theyve quickly become an essential part of my running gear, and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a pair of shoes that can keep up with their active lifestyle. Truly the best investment for my feet!

Super soft cushioning. Nice fit. Wasn’t pleased with the grip. Ran after a light rain so the roads were damp. The shoe kept slipping on push off. So if you are somewhere that gets a lot of rain, I would really think about before buying this shoes.

Fantastically comfortable.

Best of all Brooks shoes I’ve ever worn and I’ve been a fan for years.

I use for walking and standing. They feel a little firm at first around the arches but then conforms nicely. It does have some nice cushion and support and stability. I am not an overpronater but do have flatter feet and they help with that. I tried the Glycerin 22 without the GTS first and they were way too sloppy for me. By the end of my workday my feet are a little achier than when I began, but overall pretty good and they are better than my other shoes. I do wish that they had a little softer insole like my other shoes that have a little thicker and softer memory foam insole. I don’t know how they would be for running.

I love the ride of this midsole and the snugger fit of the upper. I’d say it is less than a 1/2 size small to my normal size 9 Brooks shoes. Two concerns are the toe box feels a little narrow and the outsole rubber is slick on wet pavement. I’m not a runner, use these for walking and everyday use.

This is the shoe we been waiting for! Plush, yet supportive! The Primer Grey color is FIRE!!! Great work Brooks team!! NOW DO THIS and the Primer Grey in the STEALTH FIT GTS Glycerin 22 and I will need 3 pair to get me through summer!! LOVE THIS SHOE!
True to size! Pick up a pair you will love them!

Excellent upgrade. So far I would give it a 4.5. Great feel, comfortable and roomy. Im really curious to find out how the tread holds up. Great job by the brooks team. I hope a grey color gets released without a black sole.

Love these shoes and the color. I have the Glycerin 21’s also. Wish they came in x-wide, but they do fit. Feel good on my feet when wearing them all day.

I loved the fit and the way the felt. However, the heel is a little to thick which causes more lower back pain in men. If you can make them more rocker style with a little smaller heel thickness I will be a faithful customer. Caused lower back pain Love fit. However, the heel is too thick which causes lower back pain.

I have had a terrible time finding any type shoe for my wide feet. When I get a 4E shoe my heel slides up and down. When I get a 3E or wide, they squeeze my toes. The Glycerin 22 fits perfectly.

Unfortunately, this new version in a 2E is extremely narrow. I had to return them. They only offer 4E in the gray and black colorway which sold out. I wish they gave more options in a 4E in other colorways, so I can give them a try.

love the looks and fit. Brooks shoes are definitely my favorite

As a big fan of Glycerin 21, I was very excited to try on the glycerin 22 as they have much better kind of choices. Unfortunately, I found the shoe incredibly uncomfortable in the arch and across the midsection. I don’t know what they did to it but, totally disappointed.

I’ve been purchasing Glycerins for many years now, and sad to say these are the first version that I had to return and give up. There were two main problems.
The first for me was the heel cup design, which was either too padded or too shallow, and my heel would not stay down in the shoe. Each step resulted in a feeling as if the shoe was coming off the back of my foot. The thickness of the padding here, while welcome, might have compromised the fit in some way.
The other main problem with the shoe, which may also relate to the first, is the lacing system and design. It feels and looks much cheaper and minimalized compared to the Glycerin 21. I don’t know if the entire top of the shoe is either more shallow or more narrow, but my foot doesn’t really fit in the 22 as it has in past versions.
I noticed the laces don’t sit as close together from side-to-side. Out of curiosity, I measured the difference in the two, and in the 21, my lace holes were 2″ (inches) apart. In the new 22, my lace holes were 2.5″ (inches) apart. In other words, there was an added half-inch of width in the laces, which could be a big reason why the shoe doesn’t fit as well, as if the shoe doesn’t wrap around the top of my foot to a close.
This could certainly be limited to my unique foot anatomy, but it is quite the disappointment. As I said, I’ve been buying Glycerins for years with minimal concerns. These, however, I could not wear. Looks like I’m rebuying the 21s.

Loved the 21, specifically the StealthFit. I was kind of bummed to see the 22 StalthFit not being released alongside the standard shoe and GTS, but I couldnt wait and had to try the 22. The DNA Tuned midsole is phenomenal and so comfortable. Looking forward to many long runs ahead of me. Only downfall is that they may be a bit warm
come summer runs. Grateful to hear the StealthFit is being released this Spring.

I run/walk 10 miles a day 7 days a week and these have upped my performance 100%. No foot pain and more leg strength after using these. Would buy again for sure. I have no arch and completely flat feet and its so supportive.
